What is End Stage Liver Diseases or ESLD?

End stage liver diseases which is also termed as chronic liver failure is considered as chronic liver failure, is considered to be the result of Cirrhosis. But when the progression of Cirrhosis starts then person might show some of the symptoms like fatigue, weakness, nausea, sudden weight loss, severe abdominal pain, bloating, itchy skin, blood vessels which resembles to spider on the other hand decompensated cirrhosis may result in bleeding varices, ascites encephalopathy.

How is life expectancy measured in the end stages of liver diseases?

Normally, Cirrhosis is diagnosed by medical history, symptoms, physical examination and imaging. But the severity of Cirrhosis or End Stage liver diseases is proganosed by MELD (Model for end stage liver diseases) and Child Pugh Score. These both scoring systems are determined by specific clinical measures which are different for both scoring methods.
