How to Treat Seborrheic keratosis in Ayurveda?

Introduction

Seborrheic keratosis (seb-o-REE-ik ker-uh-TOE-sis) can be defined as a typical noncancerous skin growth. As people grow older, they tend to get more of this disease. Usually black, brown, or light tan patches on the skin are observed in Seborrheic keratosis. The growth of these patches looks scaly, waxed, and slightly raised. This disease can develop on any part of the body but the most affected body parts in this disease are the back, chest or head. Most people suffer from Seborrheic keratosis at least once in their life span.

Seborrheic keratosis is a non-contagious disease and doesn’t give any harm to the patient. But the treatment is required as these spots can become annoying by clothing and don’t look nice in their appearance.

Symptoms

Usually, Seborrheic keratosis looks like a wart like or waxy growth mainly on the body areas including shoulders, chest, face, or back. The patient may observe a single growth or multiple growths, but multiple growths are observed more.
