How to Get Rid of Vitiligo Permanently ?
The first impression is the last impression’, the first impression depends on how you look, physically. The color of skin doesn’t matter, but if it displays white patches on it, it leaves an absurd impression. Physically there is no harm, but psychological pressure can be felt by the beholder. He/she is infected by vitiligo, a disturbing skin disease, which has effected lots of people on the planet Earth. Public around them look a little unpleasant and they themselves lose the confidence to have a word about its remedies. They face a social stigma and they feel helpless in going out of their homes. They lose their confidence, instead get irritated as this disease is not infectious, but still people want to avoid them.
Especially, during the family gatherings, these people lose self-esteem, get embarrassed easily, get angry spontaneously and many people suffer from severe depression. Many people blame their luck for putting this curse on them. This disease is not deadly or contagious. The good news here is that it can be cured without any surgery, as claimed by the Ayurveda, an ancient Indian medical method has found a cure without any surgery in a natural manner. Without any further mess, let’s discus the different herbal foods that help.
1. Coconut Oil
It cures many diseases and vitiligo is another one. Coconut oil helps in repigmentation of vitiligo infected skin. It already has nourished fatty acids that strengthens and sooths the inflamed skin and relieves it from frequent itching and redness. If there is one, from these white patches that make the skin look so absurd. Coconut oil is also blessed with anti-fungal and anti-bacterial features that protects the skin from any other infection. It will be better if you use extra-virgin coconut oil as a remedy, because its different variety might make the situation deteriorate.
Massage the oil on the infected skin for 2 to 3 times a day. Better consume 4 to 6 teaspoons of coconut oil with your meals, it will speed up the recovery process. If you use it regularly, you will see the results after a month. Keep using it unless these white patches of your skin vanish into the thin air.
2. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is God’s natural gift to We Humans, as it is the cure for vast variety of diseases. The enzymes that it has in its gel, can help regenerate the skin cells that have died and white patches surfaced. When the skin cells are incited, they chase away the vitiligo out from the body. Aloe Vera is nutritious in having vitamins of A, B12, C, E and folic acid, which thwart the inflammation and shields free radical damage. Folic acid and vitamin B12 help restore the color of the skin where white patches used to stay.
Carefully cut a slit in the leaf of Aloe Vera, inner gel is exposed, collect it in a container or a small bottle. Gently massage this gel on the infected skin. Leave it on it for a few hours, before cleaning it with plain water. The visible improvement will get visible after about 2 months, if massage is done regularly, twice or thrice a day.
3. Bavachi Oil
Also called Bakuchi or Babchi is a famous oil used by Ayurveda to reduce the white patches from your skin. This oil has an ingredient called psoralen, which is used along with ultraviolet radiation therapy (PUVA) to cure eczema, psoriasis and vitiligo. The bavachi oil is used to manage vitiligo. Gently massage this oil on the infected skin. Expose the infected skin to the sunlight for 15 minutes. Now either the infected part be left alone or wipe it off with a paper towel. The white patches will vanish within 3 to 4 months.
4. Onion Juice
Onions also eradicates dozens of diseases. It has abundance of vitamins A, C, E and flovonoids that shields the skin from free radical damage. Onions are also anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial agents that combat with pathogens, not allowing white patches to emerge, even with the patients of vitiligo. Add a pinch of salt to increase the anti-septic power of the onion juice. Take 1 teaspoon of onion juice, table salt should be 1/8 of a spoon. Mix them well. Soak a cotton ball in it and apply on the white patch let the juice do its job for all the night. Keep repeating this procedure, unless some positive results are visible.
5. Apple Cider Vinegar
Vitiligo is caused by fungal infection and apple cider vinegar is a good remedy for it. Its antimicrobial enzymes destroy the pathogens and restores the color of your skin. Apple cider vinegar can also help form a flawless skin and strong hair. Put 1/2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a bowl, dilute it by equal quantity of water. Soak a cotton ball in it and with it gently rub it on the infected skin. Allow it to dry itself. Wash the part with plain water after 4 to 5 hours. Repeat this process twice a day, until your skin gains its original color.
6. Raw Honey
A strong anti-bacterial and anti-fungal liquid is raw honey. It helps in eradicating the pathogens in vitiligo and prevent the white patches from developing further. Beware, better use unprocessed raw honey only, as it possesses the maximum number of enzymes. Put a thick layer of raw honey on the infected part. Let the honey get absorbed in the skin, do not touch it for 15 to 20 minutes, and then wash away with lukewarm water. Keep doing it once a day, until white patches disappear.
There are some other tips, what to eat and what to avoid to avoid getting infected by vitiligo:
Include some veggies in your diet like spinach, carrots and beet roots. Elevate your protein consumption by eating eggs, chicken, soybeans, sunflower sprouts and bananas. Consume foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids like fish with the types of salmon, tundra, ferry and walnuts. It will increase your body’s resistance powers and minimize inflammation. Drink lots of water to drive away the toxins from your body.
All these homely remedies will certainly help in reducing the white patches from your skin. You will be able to attain the original color of your skin. It might take months for these remedies to react to your skin, but they will show some progress. If you are not satisfied by the results, you better pay a visit to your doctor. He/she will be more advisable.
