Abstract
Dostarlimb works on the human programmed death receptors-1 (PD-1) for developing the IgG4 humanised monoclonal antibody. These receptors are bound on T- cells that are responsible for inhibiting the immune responses when they come into active state, and in some cancerous conditions this system works by overexpressing the PD-1 receptors, so that they are very effective in destroying the cancerous or tumorous growths. Nivolumab and pembrolizumab are the agents that work on the PD-1 pathway and that helps to enhance the endogenous immune-mediated anti-tumor activity along with results in depriving the cancerous conditions of liver, skin, lungs, or kidneys.
