Natural Herbal Remedies For Liver Cirrhosis
ABSTRACT
Liver Cirrhosis is a late stage of liver that is caused by several liver diseases such as hepatitis or chronic alcohol liver disease . As we know fatty liver is the initial stage of liver and this is the end stage of the disease. Liver related disorders are mainly caused by the poor lifestyle of the person such as excessive intake of dairy products, taking spicy food, junk food, processed food etc which may cause a bad impact on our health. Several Factors contribute, including poor nutrition, alcohol abuse and cellular and humoral immune deficiencies caused by cirrhosis. In today’s life, a healthy lifestyle is very important for a person because a healthy lifestyle makes the person healthy. All of this depends upon how we can maintain our life better. Because a healthy body is free from all types of diseases. In Ayurveda there are many ways to treat the disease by their root cause. Because Ayurveda makes things from impossible to possible. So in this topic we will discuss how Ayurveda can treat this with their herbs.
INTRODUCTION
Chronic liver disease occurs when healthy liver tissue is replaced by scar tissue preventing the liver from functioning. Sometimes it is also called Scarring of the liver. It destructs the hepatic cells and overgrowth of the fibrous tissue. It can also cause hepato cellular failure. Cirrhosis can reduce the liver ability to produce bile and essential blood protein. Scar tissues can also compress the blood vessels running through the liver including the portal vein system. It can also be caused by the chronic hepatitis, alcohol intake, low protein diet, hepatotoxic drugs that may cause the new growth of disease in the body.
It include four stages
- Stage 1 : Inflammation of liver or bile duct
- Stage 2 : Scarring of liver due to inflammation
- Stage 3 : Cirrhosis of liver
- Stage 4 : Liver Failure
CAUSES OF LIVER CIRRHOSIS
It can be cause by number of factors
- Viral infection: Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C
- Toxins: Alcohol consumption, chemicals like vinyl chloride (used in plastic), Carbon tetrachloride (Dry cleaning solvent)
- Hereditary condition: Cystic fibrosis, Galactosaemia, Hemochromatosis
- Autoimmune process: Certain types of cells of the immune system attack and damage the liver. These uncommon condition that can cause liver cirrhosis include autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cholangitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis
