As in childhood the vitiated dosha is kapha dosha, in the stage of adolescence pitta dosha is vitiated and in old age vata dosha is vitiated. So the treatment must be according to the vitiation of doshas which helps to cope up with the imbalanced doshas. In teenage years there is rapid transition and this stage is governed with pitta dosha where there is heat transformation. When women move from teen age to 40-50 years of age pitta doshas get pacified and move towards vata dosha and skin and vagina become dry and memory loss. During menopause there is imbalance of the three doshas and women faces from mood swings, constipation, insomnia, anxiety.
