Abstract

Chronic fevers associated with Vata-Pitta imbalance, chronic infections, and toxic accumulation can weaken the body’s strength, digestion, and mental stability, especially in today’s fast-paced and stress-filled lifestyle. These prolonged fevers not only reduce energy but also disturb the balance of vital doshas, leading to recurrent illness and tissue depletion. As conventional treatments sometimes fail to address the root causes, people are increasingly turning to natural and holistic remedies for safer and more lasting health solutions. Ayurveda, the ancient science of life, offers time-tested formulations that help in restoring balance, improving immunity, and supporting recovery from chronic illnesses. Jaymangal Ras, a classical Ayurvedic preparation, is known to pacify aggravated Vata and Pitta, enhance digestion, and nourish the heart, blood, and nervous system—offering a safe and effective alternative to promote resilience and vitality during prolonged fevers. Let’s explore its benefits in detail!!

Introduction

Jaymangal Ras is a revered compound traditionally employed in Ayurveda for treating complicated and prolonged fever conditions. It balances aggravated Vata and Pitta doshas and prevents depletion of vital tissues like heart muscle, nerves, and reproductive fluids. The name "Jaymangal" symbolizes victory and auspiciousness, indicating its use in overcoming life-threatening or stubborn illnesses. It is especially useful in fevers complicated by toxins (Ama), weakness, and disturbances of mind. The formulation provides quick relief, restores energy, and counters emotional disturbances arising from disease.
